Terms of Engagement and Client Care Information

This document outlines important details and establishes the framework for our working relationship. Please review it carefully and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

My Commitments to You:

I adhere to the principles of professional conduct and client care, which guide my responsibilities to you. I will:

  • Produce Graphic Design and Artwork to the highest of my ability in accordance with your request.
  • Work diligently, efficiently, and in accordance with your instructions and our agreed arrangements.
  • Prioritise and safeguard your interests, avoiding any conflicts of interest.
  • Engage in discussions with you to understand your objectives and devise effective strategies to achieve them.
  • Provide transparency about the scope of work, the individuals involved, and the service delivery process.
  • Set a reasonable and justifiable fee structure, and communicate billing details including timing and method of payment.
  • Offer clear, reliable information and advice when requested.
  • Respect your privacy, maintaining confidentiality as required.
  • Treat you fairly, with respect, and without discrimination.
  • Keep you informed about the progress of the project and notify you upon its completion.
  • Provide avenues for addressing concerns or complaints, ensuring prompt and equitable resolution.
  • Seek guidance and supervision from senior designers in my professional network when required.
  • My obligations to you are limited to our direct working relationship and do not extend to any third parties. Kindly notify me if you anticipate others using my material.

Billing Arrangements:

My hourly rate is $120 + GST, subject to potential adjustments. Additionally, you will be responsible for covering expenses incurred during the engagement, such as travel and external agency costs.

Upon engaging my services, you agree to the payment of my fees. Invoices will be issued according to our agreed terms.

Payment should be settled within 14 days of receiving an invoice. Failure to do so may result in the withholding of your project documents or termination of our collaboration. If collection services are required, any associated costs will be your responsibility. Please note that I will not manage or hold any of your funds.

Confidentiality and Data Handling:

Throughout our partnership, I will share all relevant information related to your project. Rest assured, I maintain strict confidentiality unless disclosure is required for the provision of services or compliance with legal obligations. Appropriate measures are taken to ensure the

security of your information. Upon the conclusion of our engagement, you authorise me to securely store or dispose of your data without further consultation.

Termination:

Either party has the right to terminate our engagement at any point. In case of termination, you remain responsible for paying fees accrued up to that point.

Complaints:

Should any concerns arise, please address them directly with me. If you are uncomfortable doing so, you may appoint a third party to communicate on your behalf. There will be no charge for resolving complaints.

Liability:

is a graphic designer and artist I seek to provide you with solutions and relevant information that meet the purposes of your project and professional needs. The information and product provide you with is intended as external advice and service, and how you use the advice, service or information I provide is at your discretion. Therefore, any decisions or resulting actions are made at your acceptance of liability. As a graphic designer and artist, I am not liable for your decisions, actions, or resulting outcomes. I would encourage you to seek legal advice if needed.

I am not personally liable for costs or debt incurred as result of your actions upon receiving my services.

If you do not accept these terms, please let me know in writing. Further engagement after receiving this document indicates your agreement with these terms.
