Project Description: Development for SiliCAN - Branding, Logo Design & Business Card Package

Client: SiliCAN - Silicone Home Services

Project Overview:

Daniel Price Art & Design was approached to lead the branding development for a silicone service SiliCAN. This logo and branding assets would lead the brand identity of a small business providing silicone servicing to a variety of clientele.

Design Challenge:

Armed with a rudimentary idea to begin from, the client was seeking a logo that was simultaneously sophisticated and highly repeatable. As this was to be used on things ranging from the service vehicle, to apparel, purchasable products, and business cards - which were to be developed simultaneously. This project was going to determine the aesthetic identity for the business as a whole.

Creative Solution:

Building on the client's original idea, a collaborative effort was established to work alongside the client and develop a suite of brand logos, a brand guidelines document, and associated branding elements for use across platforms. A cohesive set of vector and raster files were established, and a set of business cards that helps establish and showcase the brand identity and purpose was also developed. Along with the logos, a brand pattern for aesthetic use was also developed and implemented as part of the branding package. The logo was kept simple, using elements from the original design to keep the element of client engagement and input to the project, while also refining the directing that was originally sought after and creating desired brand associations using colour and especially selected letterforms.

Project Results:

The design, guidelines, and business cards were well-received and have been actioned as the brand identity for this business. Communication lines with the client and ongoing support is also provided to assist in the usage and growth of the brand.
