Project Description: Brett Mann Seminar

Client: Christian Fellowship Group at Summerset Village

Project Overview:

A donated piece of design, Daniel Price Art & Design was asked in 2024 to create a poster / notice of a wellbeing seminar, to go up around the local Summerset Retirement Village by one of their residents.

Design Challenge:

This project required a significant amount of information to be displayed on the advertising, as this would be the only point of advertising / contact with potential attendees. There was necessary demand to present details of when, where, as well as information on the speaker, and topics of the seminar to be presented up front. Along with a relevant image of the speaker, and relevant layout and graphic design to suit. Layout and typography had to be very clear, as some viewing could be visually impaired.

Creative Solution:

A simple header graphic was sourced that aligned with the overall topic of discussion. This also provided the colour basis of other graphic elements within the composition. Text hierarchy had to be tactically utilized in order to present all the information that was needed, and to fit around the graphics used to break up chunks of information to be easier to view.
